Introduction

This is the programming portion of my Flam Swiss venture, wherein I once-again compose cadences for high school drumlines.

This project tweaks lilypond's internal music data structure to get better sounding midi output for marching percussion pieces.

I also fancy the idea of being able to compose in notation that's better suited to marching percussion than lilypond's native syntax. There's a compiler.py python script on github that's the first phase of this sub-project.
